ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
Candidate must possess the following skills:
q Manage and oversee portfolio of up to 50 residential properties
q Manage all aspects of the operation of a portfolio of properties
q Provide support to/supervise staff associated with the portfolio including conducting semi-annual reviews
q Perform regular on-site inspections and communicate with Tenants and Owners
q Oversee staff to ensure properties are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards and ensure that all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely & cost efficient manner
q Work with Leasing Agents to ensure vacant units are rented in accordance with the procedures
q Assist in developing budgets and complete financial reporting for the portfolio of properties
q Strong Supervisory skills
q Attention to detail
q Ability to thrive in a changing environment
q Ability to contribute to a rapidly growing company
q Dynamic leadership skills
q Experience with Microsoft Office tools
q Experience in Property Management industry is an asset
LEASING AGENT
Candidate must possess the following skills:
q Experience in sales and customer relations
q Pleasing personality – must have interest, enthusiasm and sense of humor
q Attention to detail
q Experience in Property Management industry is an asset
q Common sense and judgment in day-to-day matters
q Self-control
q Ability to solve tenant problems
q Neat, clean and appropriate appearance
q Team Player - Able to work closely with other MVL personnel
MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR
Candidate must possess the following skills:
q Full-time experience or experience in related field
q Training or knowledge of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, repairing appliances ect…
q Willingness to pitch in and work in areas other than strictly supervisory maintenance i.e. janitorial, custodial, and gardening etc…
q Pleasing personality and ability to work successfully with tenants
q Team Player - Able to work closely with other MVL personnel
MAINTENANCE STAFF
Candidate must posses the following skills:
q Experience in the following areas a plus: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, repairing appliances ect…
q Pride and dedication in your work
q Diligence in completing daily assignments
q Ability to work well with others
q Team Player - Able to work closely with other MVL personnel
BOOKKEEPER – PT and FT
Candidate must possess the following skills:
q Working knowledge of accounts Payable/ accounts receivable/bank reconciliation, general ledger and payroll
q Knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting
q Ability and knowledge to prepare certain required tax forms including 1099 forms
q Flexible, self starter, attention to detail, Diligence in completing daily assignments
q Ability to work well with others
q Pleasant demeanor
q Experience with Quick Books, Quicken or other similar program a plus
q Team Player - Able to work closely with other MVL personnel
