  • The median rent is $1,827 nationally
  • Philadelphia rents are up 7.6% over the last year - 1 bedroom are up 4.1% and 2 bedroom are up 6.1%
  • There is no end in sight for rent increases as less and less people can afford to buy a home and will remain renters
